He was introduced to his first chiropractor, Dr. Steven Lindner both one of his mentors and friend, who delivered him his first adjustment that helped fix his injuries. At that point Dr. Cueto was intrigued. After following him for several weeks seeing all types of patients walk into his office, some in pain and couldn’t move, and seeing them walk out pain free and become both fully functional and healthy he knew that this would be his true calling and a few years later was accepted and attended New York Chiropractic College. Additionally, he gained top honors as a chiropractic intern that he was accepted into a top Honors Internship program at Chronic Pain Options in Riverhead, New York where he interned under Dr. Ralph Mangels and was introduced to the FAKTR Method; a soft tissue technique that would break up scar tissue adhesions within connective tissues and muscles while employing specific corrective exercises. Additionally, Dr. Cueto is a Certified Active Release Technique (ART) Provider for full body which also addresses and corrects myofascial adhesions and sports injuries. Dr. Cueto continues to use these methods in treating each of his patients. Only July, 2011, Dr. Cueto further solidified his commitment to his passion for sports when he completed his post-graduate training under the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians and became a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) to help further treat all kinds of athletes and their injuries and promote injury prevention.
